3 Keys to Growing in Confidence
Last week, I paid a visit to my little sister at her high school summer camp. Though I knew most of the counselors, there was one young lady I didn’t know.
Within minutes of being around her, I found myself so fascinated and drawn to her; I wanted to be her BFF!
There she was, leading the campers through a team challenge but with such carefree expression! I watched as she joked on the microphone, informed the kids that they had 3 minutes to finish their team chants, and then danced the silliest little dance while the music played in the background.
Who was she and what was it about this girl that was so freakin’ cool?
That’s when it hit me: C O N F I D E N C E.
Confidence put this girl on the map and impressed on me, “This girl knows who she is!”
If you’re someone who has ever looked at a confident person and wish you could be like that too, this episode of the Naida Lynn Tip of the Week (NLTOW) is for you.
In this video, I share 3 Keys that helped me go from someone battling chronic low self-esteem to emerging as the roaring confident person that people know me as today.
Confidence isn’t about becoming an extravert or acting silly in front of a lot of people. But it is about owning who you are and being unafraid to show it.
What you’ll learn in this video is extremely helpful if you’ve felt held back by fear of what others think and are ready to become unapologetically yourself.
Once you’ve had a chance to watch, come on back to the blog and let me know:
Do you struggle with self-confidence? How do you overcome it? For bonus points, who are some super confident people you admire, living or not?
Leave a comment and let me know.
Because being a confident person is one of the most liberating experiences you’ll ever have in life.
See you on the blog.
P.S. If you have friends or family members that struggle with low self-esteem, FORWARD this email! It could really help them.
